Made for your Mac
About Replay
Replay is an independent Mac app by Nika Sakandelidze. Record meetings without a bot and keep transcripts, notes and recordings on your Mac.
A small Mac app by Nika Sakandelidze
Replay is made by Nika Sakandelidze, an independent software maker. It is part of a family of Mac tools that includes Lasso and Spatia. Replay focuses on keeping the useful parts of a meeting close to the work: the recording, a searchable transcript and notes you can keep as ordinary files.
You can find the maker’s public profiles below, or contact Replay directly by email. Replay is independent of Apple, Google, Zoom, Microsoft and Anthropic; their product names describe the platforms and assistants the app works with.
Your meetings, saved on your Mac
Replay records Google Meet in a browser window and calls in the Zoom and Microsoft Teams Mac apps. It captures the selected call window, meeting sound and your microphone, without adding a bot to the meeting. Transcription, search and Apple Intelligence features run on the Mac.
Replay is a one-time purchase with activation on two Macs. It requires Apple silicon and macOS 26 or later. Activate once and download your speech model, then use recording and transcription offline. Summaries and meeting questions require Apple Intelligence.
Files you can keep and back up
Each recording is a folder in ~/Movies/Replay Recordings/, containing video, audio, transcripts and any generated notes. You can open and back up those files outside Replay. Optional expiring video links and optional MCP connections to AI assistants are separate choices; the privacy page explains what leaves the Mac in each case.
